The theme for this year’s Youth Week (18-26 May) was “We are more than you see” “He wai hōhonu a mātou”. With this in mind Youth Intact’s youth workers Evelynne and Aleisha set up a photo booth for taiohi to express themselves and have their photos taken.
They went into three of the High Schools that Youth Intact service and gave students the chance to express themselves with props and words and have a polaroid picture taken to have.
Altogether it was a successful activity, a good time for those who participated, and a great opportunity for young people to express themselves and show us that they are more than we see.
